MY WORK MAKEUP WARDROBE

Work makeup is what I'm wearing for 5/7ths of my week, so it really deserves more of a focus on my blog! Today I'm talking through the products that are currently in my work makeup wardrobe...

First, let's talk base products. I'm really enjoying theMilk Makeup Blur Stick| £30.50 |full review| as a primer. It's quick and easy to apply (you can even throw it into your gym bag for after your workout, if you like to go before work) and does what I want a primer to! It takes down the surface shine and provides a smooth, even base for makeup, so your foundation doesn't settle into pores or fine lines. I then like to go in with the我T Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream(Medium Tan) | £31 |full review. On a day-to-day basis, one pump of this is enough for the coverage I want, and even then it's almost at a medium finish. It makes my skin look healthy and radiant without getting shiny or disappearing throughout the day. 'Your skin but better' is exactly what I'm looking for in a workday product. To conceal, I really love theMilk Makeup Flex Concealer(Medium) |full review.我t honestly blends like a dream and after setting, it won't crease or wear away. It covers my dark circles without being too heavy. It's a great breathable concealer that still does the job for me.

Let's move on to my go-to cheek products on work days. First up is theMilani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder in Sunset Glow| £10.99 |full review.我absolutely love this highlighter formula - it's soft and metallic but still gives the skin a gorgeous glow. It's perfect for people who don't like a blinding full-on highlight for work. There's pretty much a shade for every skin tone in this collection but my personal favourite is this gorgeous golden-coppery colour. As blusher I really like theGlossier Cloud Paint in Dusk| £15 |full review.这个cream-liquid公式可以擦到skin with the fingers for a light, natural wash of colour. It's one of the few liquid formulas that actually works on my combination skin! I love this peachy-brown nude colour for a natural office makeup look. One of my favourite everyday bronzers is theBecca Sunlit Bronzer in Ipanema Sun| £27. It looks matte on the skin but actually has a very slight sheen to it to add some natural glow. The formula is very easy to blend, the colour is warming but also adds a bit of dimension to the face.

For eyeshadow - I like to have a cream formula on hand for when I'm in a rush, but there's also a palette here. I really like theNudestix Magnetic Eye Colour Pencil in Gilt| £20 (apologies I mistakenly called it 'Copper' on the swatch below!) It does need a primer to stay in place and remain crease-proof on a long day, however I just love the application - you can swipe it on in seconds and dab a little to blend out the edges. If you want, you can add a matte brown to the crease to compliment this warm coppery-gold shimmer. I think theAnastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette* | £42 |full review| is the palette I'd recommend to any one who just wants one eyeshadow palette in their life to doeverything.我t has such a lovely array of mattes, which is why it's great for less full-on makeup days. It's very user-friendly and has pretty much everything you could need for everyday wear!

Although I love a bit of winged liner, I don't always feel the need to wear it for work, however I still like to line the inside of my lash line. My favourite product for that is theStila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Vivid Smokey Quartz| £16. It's a soft - but also pigmented - warm brown, so adds subtle definition to the eyes. I find it goes on very smoothly (it's also twist-up so you don't have to sharpen it) and lasts all day. I also love theGlossier Lash Slick Mascara| £14 |full review.它给自然长度和铜rl to the lashes and isso防污,使它非常适合日常穿着。我t isn't super volumising, which I didn't like when I first tried it, but I actually love this now as an easy thing to throw on for work so I don't have to worry about getting panda eyes!

我have two quick and easy brow products, depending on the condition of my brows! The first isGlossier Boy Brow(Black) | £14 | for when my brows don't need too much help or just to set them. This is a fibre gel so it adds colour and volume, as well as softly holding the hairs in place. If you have naturally good brows; it's all you really need. For brows that require a bit more help, I recommend theAnastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz(Ebony) | £22. It has a very fine twist-up pencil on one end (so no sharpening is required for a natural-looking, precise application) and a spooly to brush your brows through with on the other end. It has a lovely soft pigmentation so it's hard to be heavy-handed when using this.

我have a few natural-toned lip colours here that I reach for a lot when doing my makeup for work. The first is theFresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Spice| £19.50. This formula is so nourishing and can be applied and reapplied in a couple of seconds and without a mirror. They have a huge range of shades, however I personally love this warm reddish-brown. I also love the& Other Stories Lipstick in Logwood Umber| £13. This has an interesting formula; it's creamy and hydrating but still very opaque and pigmented. It's a neutral brown, so would make a gorgeous true nude on deeper skin tones. Finally, I haveMAC's Satin Lipstick in Mocha| £17.50 | which I actually had to repurchase recently because I sadly lost it and honestly couldn't live without this shade! It's a Satin formula so has the longevity and colour payoff of a matte but has a bit more of a sheen and is less drying. The colour is a unique pinky-brown-peachy nude.
