It's time again for my seasonal beauty edit! These are the makeup, skincare and body products seeing me through the cold winter weather...

- MAKEUP -

My skin has been pretty dry and dehydrated this winter, so I've been reaching a lot for theKosas Tinted Face Oil* | £40 |full review. It's so nourishing for my skin without being too shiny. It gives a bit of everyday-appropriate coverage that evens out my skin's tone whilst still looking very natural. Also for face products; I still love myMilani Baked Blush in Berry Amore| £10.95. This is an oldie but a goodie because the highlighting formula gives a natural hint of colour that goes on evenly and lasts throughout the day. This is a mid-toned berry colour that's not too much, so pairs perfectly with a bold berry lip.

I've still been loving myT oo Faced Gingerbread Spice Palette| £39 |full review| from last winter. Unfortunately this palette is no longer available and the Extra Spice version from the past Christmas is sold out, but if you check outthis post, I did share a dupe! Overall I love these warm tones mixed in with some pops of colour and the formula is truly fantastic. I really enjoyed using these gorgeous foiled metallics during the festive period. I don't generally love a red lip, but I do make an exception for theCharlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Walk of Shame| £25. This is more of a sheer stain-like matte formula that's long-wearing and very comfortable to wear. It's a sort of muted red-berry tone.

- SKINCARE -

This winter I've really been enjoying theQMS Medicosmetics Deep Gentle Cleanser* | £38. It's a lightweight but nourishing and softening lotion-cream cleanser and a great all-rounder because it can be used as a morning cleanse, to remove makeup or as your second cleanse. This cleanser contains lactic acid, which gently exfoliates as well as acting as a humectant to draw water into the skin. It's just a great all-rounder! My go-to day cream before Christmas (when I wasn't trialling a load of new products, like I am now) was theLumen Vitae Ray of Light Regenerating Day Cream* | £30. This is a nourishing cream that isn't overly rich and doesn't leave any excess on the surface of my skin. It softens, smooths and replenishes, which is exactly what my winter skin needs! It contains some of my favourite ingredients like shea butter, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, aloe and Vitamin E, drawing in water, taking care of dry patches and protecting my skin from the elements. There's not much more I could ask for from a day cream!

Overnight, I've had two go-to products; theLiz Earle Cica Restore Skin Paste* | £29 | and theDermalogica Barrier Defence Booster * | £67. The cica cream is something I use before bed a couple of times a week, to keep any winter-induced soreness and redness at bay and it's really been helping. The Dermalogica booster is effectively an oil that I use as the last step in my evening skincare routine - it's not cheap, but I honestly only need about 2 drops for my entire face! It's formulated with a blend of natural oils such as oat, sunflower, kiwi and grape (just be warned; there are some fragrant oils in the mix too). It's honestly so softening and smoothing, really replenishing and nourishing dry skin by the time morning comes around. You definitely don't need to spend this much to have a good face oil, but if you want to treat yourself; I really do like this one!

- BODY ETC. -

In terms of fragrance; the festive season has been all about theMolton Brown Bizarre Brandy Eau de Toilette* | £85 (currently on sale for £56) | for me. This is a gorgeous, wintery, festive unisex scent with notes of orange, ginger, brandy, cedarwood and tobacco. Another lovely-smelling body pick is myNuxe Huile Prodigieuse Florale Multi-Purpose Dry Oil* | £29.50. No autumn / winter blog post would be complete without one of these oils! The skin on my body gets so dry during the colder months that I always reach for an oil. This formula provides that intense nourishment without being greasy to the touch, plus I love the light floral scent.

I've also been using theBioderma Atoderm Shower Oil* | £14.50 | for an extra boost of moisture. This is a basic, fragrance-free shower oil that's suitable for dry, sensitive skin types. It's functional but it does the job! It softens and hydrates that dry body of mine, so even on days when I'm just chilling at home and haven't slathered myself in an oil or moisturiser; my skin remains comfortable and supple. My go-to lip balm when the cold weather comes around is theNuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm* | £11. It's a classic for a reason; it's nice and thick so I leave it on overnight for soft lips by morning. I honestly don't get dry, chapped, sore lips any more and I credit it to this lip balm. Finally, I just have to feature theJurlique Rose Hand Cream* | £35 | yet again, because it is one of the best I've ever used. If I apply it in the morning - even with my near-compulsive hand-washing - it provides lasting hydration. Best of all, it has a beautiful rose scent and doesn't make my hands greasy or slippery.
