I honestly don't think I'll ever stop doing my seasonal beauty edits - there's just something so nostalgic about sitting down to write these posts! Today we're talking through my must-haves for Spring 2021...

- SKIN -

I've honestly been using the same cleanser for spring / summer since about 2018 so it's not going to be a surprise for the regulars. I love theFresh Soy Face Cleanser* | £36 (200ml) |review| because it's light, refreshing but not too foaming or stripping. It leaves my skin soft andfreshas a morning cleanse but also removes the sort of lightweight makeup I tend to go for. I follow it up with another product from the perfect glowing spring skin brand: theFresh Kombucha Treatment Essence* | £62. I'm obsessed with this right now; it's full of fermented antioxidants that help protect the skin from environmental damage. It's also incredibly hydrating and locks that hydration into the skin. It makes my skin look healthy and glowing too. I absolutely love this and I'm not sure why I slept on it for so long!

Next I go in with theBeauty Pie Japanfusion Genius Lift Elixir* | £7.75 for members (£50 bonus spending allowance for new members with code JASMINESENTME (affiliate)). The only thing I don't like about this product is the size, because I'm already on my second bottle. Not a bad problem to have, though... This is a serum but kind of like an oil-serum; suitable for daytime wear with my dry skin and it makes my skin look so radiant and feel so moisturised. It's formulated with antioxidants, glycerin and castor oil; it's not anything active, it's just a deeply moisturising step for dry, dull and tired skin. Over it, I like theHonest Beauty Hydrogel Cream| £25. I really wasn't sure a gel-cream was going to do enough for me but this melts into my skin and leaves it soft, smooth, moisturised and glowing. Despite being a gel-cream it contains both humectants like glycerin and hyaluronic acid, as well as squalane, a plant derived but skin-similar oil. It's a simple but beautiful formula with no fragrance that I think even sensitive types might like.

Lastly, it's not a morning skincare routine without sunscreen and I love theThank You Farmer Sun Project Water Cream茉莉花|£18(15%的代码TALKSBEAUTY (affiliate)). This is a beautiful, elegant formula for everyday wear and is perfect under makeup, all whilst offering an independently-verified SPF 50 PA +++ level of protection. It melts right in, giving me zero white cast and has a beautiful dewy finish.

- MAKEUP -

I recently repurchased theMAC Strobe Cream in Goldlite| £26 | and now I remember why I loved this so much! This is a hydrating but light creamy primer or a mixing medium to add to your complexion product. It gives a gorgeous sheeny glow and this particular shade is a yellow gold. It's nothing crazy or tin-man-esque but adds a certain luminosity. I'm also really enjoying theMilk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30| £39 |full review。我知道这在它但是你proba防晒霜bly not applying enough of a complexion product to get the advertised protection, which is why I used a dedicated product underneath. I do wish you got more ml in this (more of that in my full review) but I honestly do enjoy the look it gives on my skin so I'm not mad. This is a breathable (and light coverage) but long-wearing complexion product that's not overly matte but definitely not dewy either. I personally like it with the MAC for that extra glow whilst still maintaining the longevity of the finish.

In case you hadn't noticed: this is all about the glow, so obviously I have a highlighter, the1Day Skin Dew in Bubbly| CA$36. This is a cream highlighter that I dab on with my fingers. I recommend this shade for medium-warm skin tones because it's a very yellow-gold iridescent shade that I think could pull a bittooyellow on some people. I personally really like this and love the wet-look highlight it gives and how moveable the product is as I blend it out. My favourite bronzer and blusher duo are theNudestix Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze in Terracotta Tan and Sunkissed| £28 each. These are honestly some of my go-to cheek products because the formula is just perfect; they have a matte finish but blend like a dream. I don't actually swipe them straight onto my face, instead I use the blusher with my fingers and the bronzer with a dense synthetic brush (using a stippling motion). They're long-wearing and I love these colours: Sunkissed is a muted bronze-rose colour and Terracotta Tan is that perfect, warm sun-kissed tone.

Rounding off my makeup picks; I have an easy eye and an easy lip. A really great one-swipe product is theTrinny London Eye2Eye in Sun| £18. It's easy to pop on and blend out, though I do recommend using an eye primer underneath so it lasts as the weather (hopefully!) hots up. This is a warm light gold colour with this lovely peachy undertone. I like to pair it with theCharlotte Tilbury Hyaluronic Happikiss in Happipeach| £25. This is a hydrating, glossy-look lipstick formula, but it's still a lipstick in terms of the opacity you get from one swipe, which means it's longer-wearing than a tinted lip balm, for example. This is a lovely warm peachy colour that's perfect for a fresh spring makeup look.

- EVERYTHING ELSE -

I don't know why this isn't in the final shot but there's meant to be a scent in here! I personally love theJo Loves Pomelo Fragrance Parfum* | £115 | with notes of pomelo grapefruit, vetiver, patchouli and zest for a lasting spritz of fresh citrus. Lastly, before I was able to get to the salon, I was loving theOPI Bee-Hind the Scenes Nail Lacquer* | £13.90. This is a beautiful pale yellow and you can actually get that lovely opaque finish in just a couple of coats. Normal nail polish really doesn't last on me, but I get a good few days out of this formula, which is why it's one of the only ones I still use and recommend.
