Can you believe we've passed the halfway point?! Apparently, that's the case, so it seemed the perfect opportunity to look back on the new products and lines that have really knocked my socks off this past 6 months or so...

Whilst every individual product from this affordable line (designed by the veteran beauty journalist)Sali Hughes for Revolution Skincarewasn't a hit for me, it was broadly pretty impressive, especially at this price-point (every product is under £15). I think the packaging is really cute, I like the concept of a simple, gentle everyday line and I think this will work for pretty much any skin type.

In terms of my standouts, IlovedtheClean Sheet Morning Cleanser* | £10. This is a creamy-balmy formula that provides a gentle cleanse and emulsifies off with water. It can actually remove light makeup and sunscreen too, so it's a great multi-tasker for if you're off on your travels this summer. It also justfeelslike a luxury experience; for £10, you really can't go wrong. I also really enjoyed theCream Drench Rich Anytime Moisturiser* | £14 | which - true to its name - works for my normal-to-dry skin for AM and PM (though there's now a gel version of it, if you prefer). It has this light texture that still feels substantial on my skin and leaves it soft, smooth and very happy with great ingredients like ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. Again; with the way it feels on the skin, you'd never guess it was so well-priced.

Rose Incis the new(ish) brand by supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and so far, I'm really enjoying its vibe of fresh, natural dewy skin (I definitely have my eye on the new cream bronzers and highlighters...) Earlier this year they launched theSkin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum* (060) | £36 | and it's become an everyday staple for me. This is a hydrating gel packed full of skin benefits with these spheres of pigment suspended within it, so as you work it into the skin, they burst and you get a light bit of coverage from it. It's natural but enhances the skin whilst still leaving it looking like skin, so I just use my concealer where I need it and allow the rest of my skin to look healthy and glowing using this product. It's pretty much my default for days I'm in the office.

This year Selena Gomez'sRare Beautyfinally launched at Space NK for those of us in the UK. The line was absolutely a bit of me with its focus on glowing skin and vibrant pops, and - having heard good things - I picked up a fair few products from the line. However, I do have a couple of standouts that I pretty much use every single day month later! The first istheLight Touch Brightening Concealer(240) | £18 | which is the perfect balance for me between providing good coverage without ever looking or feeling heavy. It actually has quite a hydrating finish that's still long-wearing (just be sure to set it with powder to avoid creasing). It really brightens under my eyes and I only need a little dot or two of product under each to get the coverage I'm looking for. ThePositive Light Liquid Luminiser in Outshine| £21 | is alsodreamy! It adds a subtle, soft gold luminosity to the skin without having a glittery or tinfoil effect. It catches the light and just looks stunning.

Glow Recipe is a brand that has slowly grown on me and it's really gone from strength to strength with each new launch, to my mind (excluding the sunscreen that shall not be named...) They're all about gentle actives and hydration, being a Korean-American brand, they definitely draw on the K-beauty skincare philosophy. My favourite thing they've launched this year is thePlum Plump Hyaluronic Cream* | £35 |full review. This has been my go-to summer moisturiser this year because it has a light gel-cream texture that melts in but also provides lasting hydration. At the same time, it gives me a fresh, dewy-skin look and definitely delivers on the bouncy skin effect!

I am definitely someone who reaches for tinted moisturisers rather than foundation, but if I want to up the glam for a special occasion: it has to be theCharlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation* (6 Neutral). | £36. I'd say it has a medium-buildable finish and is hydrating but not overtly dewy. It doesn't cover up my skin too much and is never heavy or cakey. Best of all: it has fantastic longevity and doesn't settle into fine lines. It's pretty much my perfect 'proper' foundation formula!

I will be doing a full brand review soon but I had to mention the new, very affordable Everyday Skin line launched by Aussie sunscreen and self tan brand Bondi Sands. I already have a couple of favourites, though! The first is theBondi Sands Wonder Potion Hero Oil* | £9.99. This oil feels so much more luxurious than you'd guess from its reasonable price-point. It's silky, softening and nourishing without being heavy and does a great job of locking in my entire routine and gives it an extra boost of moisture. It's formulated with sea buckthorn oil, jojoba oil, glycerin, Vitamin E, rosehip and more, so you're also getting antioxidant benefits. I also love theirDaydream Whipped Moisturiser* | £8.99 |full review. This light-but-softening formula will work for almost any skin type and is formulated with good stuff like rosehip oil and Vitamin E but manages to put them in a light lotion that's easy for the skin to absorb.

你有试过这些产品吗?有什么是en you favourite launches of the year so far?
